A chamber opera based on "The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll. The original text is mostly preserved. The work includes overtures, short dance-like movements, vocal polyphony, and choral sections. Features a 10-piece orchestra and 14 vocalists. Uses conventional chord structures, but in fact, the entire music fabric is well-steeped in modern compositional techniques.
